Abstract:
A temperature sensor (1) for gas burner (2) having a thermocouple (11) comprising electric conductors (15) and a connection element (12) to connect to the burner (2) associated with a free end (18) of such thermocouple (11), said connection element (12) being suitable for being inserted inside a seat of the sensor (8) formed inside a wall (4) of the burner (2) and having a first end (26) suitable for being placed at the outer surface (6) of the burner (2), said thermocouple (11) being inserted inside a blind hole (29) of the connection element (12) which opens at a second end (28) of said connection element (12). Said blind hole (29) ends with at least one part (31) convergent towards an end zone (K) of the hole (29), said part (31) getting in contact with the thermocouple (11) inserted inside the connection element, the connection element (12) being made from an iron-chrome-aluminum alloy. An assembly comprising such temperature sensor and a burner is also claimed.
Abstract:
Systems and units for gas shut-off are provided. In one embodiment, a gas shut-off unit is adapted to be mounted on a gas control valve with no direct contact to fluid or gas disposed therein. The gas shut-off unit includes a transmitter configured to receive a signal that can cause the gas shut-off unit to urge the gas control valve to a closed position.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present utility model application relates to an improvement to cookers intended to make the use of such appliances safer by preventing accidents such as burns and scalds. The alterations proposed comprise a new arrangement of the gas supply valves to the burners, in the case of gas cookers, or changing the layout of the heat control switches that activate the hobs of an electric cooker, the hobs being analogous to the burners of a gas cooker. The purpose of the aforementioned alterations is the sequential actuation of the hobs, making actuation of the hobs at the front of the cooker dependent on the prior actuation of the hobs in the central or rear parts of the cooker. In the improvement proposed, the more powerful burners or hobs are positioned to the rear of the cooker so that the use of same is not dependent on the prior operation of the other hob, since these more powerful hobs are used very frequently.
Abstract:
A method and device for verifying the integrity of each operator (6, 7) of a gas valve (1 ) comprising two operators (6, 7) disposed in succession on a passage path (3) for the gas directed to a burner; the operator (6, 7) being subjected to command action by a corresponding actuator (20, 21 ) controlled by a command and control unit (24) adapted to sense the presence of the flame (5) in the burner, which is correlated with the gas flow rate reaching this latter. Each operator (6, 7) is made to close alternately, with corresponding cessation of gas feed to the burner and successive sensing of the extinguishing of the flame (5) at the burner within a predefined time period, power to these operators being completely interrupted if it is sensed after said time period that the flame (5) is extinguished.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cooking device (1) comprising a burner group (3), provided to be easily emplaced into the housing (15) without any problems after being detached and taken apart for maintenance, providing complete burning thereby preventing the formation of poisonous gases.
Abstract:
The invention includes method and apparatus for controlling the stability of a burner, preferably a low NO x burner, of a natural draft heater. The method includes measuring the draft over a time period and generating a measured output from which a draft function is determined that defines the relationship between the draft and time during the time period. A value for the burner stability is defined that is representative of a stable burner operation. The draft function is compared to the stable burner value to determine a differential value, and the operation of the fired heater is adjusted in response to the differential value. The apparatus includes means for measuring the draft over a time period and means for generating a measured output from which a draft function is determined that is proportional to the cyclic variation of the draft during the time period.
