Abstract: A system and method for sampling telemetry events are provided. The method includes monitoring, using at least one listening module, execution of instructions by a processor, identifying, using the at least one listening module, one or more unique tags, determining, based on one or more trigger conditions, if the one or more unique tags is associated with at least one of the one or more trigger conditions, wherein the one or more trigger conditions are dynamically modifiable via a remote device, obtaining, based on the determination, a portion of a stack data structure associated with the execution of the instructions by the processor; and performing, based on the determination, at least one action.

Abstract: A system and method for quantifying impact of script error exceptions on performance of an online retail platform. A method includes selecting at least one performance metric for a webpage, wherein the selected performance metric has an impact due to at least one script error exception encountered on the webpage visited by a first user device; retrieving a normal value for each of the at least one selected performance metric for the webpage visited by a second user device; retrieving an abnormal value for each of the at least one selected performance metric for the webpage visited by the second user device; comparing the abnormal value to the normal value of a respective selected performance metric; and determining a performance impact score based on the comparison, wherein the performance impact score is indicative of a reduction in a performance metric of each of the least one selected performance metric.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to an apparatus that includes a memory and at least one processor where the at least one processor is to receive configuration to gather performance data for a function from one or more platforms and during execution of the function, collect performance data for the function and store the performance data after termination of execution of the function. Some examples include an interface coupled to the at least one processor and the interface is to receive one or more of: an identifier of a function, resources to be tracked as part of function execution, list of devices to be tracked as part of function execution, type of monitoring of function execution, or meta-data to identify when the function is complete. Performance data can be accessed to determine performance of multiple executions of the short-lived function.

Abstract: Methods and systems for test deployment of computational code on virtual servers are disclosed. In one embodiment, an exemplary method comprises receiving test computational code programmed to provide resources; selecting a test virtual server from a plurality of virtual servers; uploading the test computational code to the test virtual server; initializing the test computational code on the test virtual server; receiving computational performance measurements of the test virtual server and a remainder of the plurality of virtual servers; calculating a test score of the test virtual server based on the received computational performance measurements; and stopping the test computational code if the test score is outside a set range.

Abstract: A first device executing an application determines data indicative of conditions associated with the first device during use of the application. Based on correspondence between this data and threshold data that indicates conditions in which frames representing a display output of the first device should be stored, the first device is caused to send data indicative of these frames to a second device. The second device generates user interface data based in part on the received frames and may send the user interface data to other devices. To reduce the amount of data sent and the computational resources used, the first device may store only changed frames of display output, and may send data to the second device at times when a communication interface of the first device is active for other purposes.
