Abstract: A communication system includes a plurality of MESs arranged at different locations and operating as a unit to communicate with one or more satellites. One of the MESs is configured in a leader mode and each remaining MES of the MESs is configured in a follower mode based on a result of an auto-negotiation. Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system including a network interface arranged to receive a data frame from one or more communication networks. A frame filter is arranged to receive the data frame from the network interface, wherein the frame filter selectively outputs the data frame to at least one of a second network interface or a direct memory access (DMA) controller based on a data frame type. The DMA controller is arranged to store a received data frame to shared memory and transmit an interrupt signal to a media access control (MAC) driver after the received data frame is stored in the shared memory so that the MAC driver can initiate an interrupt handler in response to the interrupt signal to retrieve the stored data frame.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a satellite of a non-terrestrial network (NTN) may establish communications on a beam of the satellite. The UE may receive, on a first carrier of a first set of carriers associated with a first beam, a configuration for the first set of carriers associated with the first beam and a second set of carriers associated with a second beam. The first carrier may be used to send a first set of synchronization signals, and a second carrier of the second set of carriers may be used to send a second set of synchronization signals. The UE may identify some system information associated with the second set of carriers based on the configuration and reselect to the second beam based on the configuration.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first message comprising a configuration for reconstructing a bandwidth part (BWP) for a network entity. The BWP may be used on a non-terrestrial beam of a non-terrestrial entity. The method also includes reconstructing a BWP of the BWPs based on the configuration. The method further includes switching from a current BWP to the reconstructed BWP to communicate with the network entity, e.g., non-terrestrial entity.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a non-terrestrial network (NTN) entity, a message that is associated with an uplink grant. The UE may select, based at least in part on the message, either a cell-specific offset or an updated offset that is indicated after initial access, as a timing offset that accounts for a propagation delay between a base station of the NTN and the UE. The UE may transmit, to the NTN entity, an uplink communication using the timing offset. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication includes validating a PUR configuration in a NTN based on location-related information associated with a satellite. For example, a UE may determine, based on location-related information of a satellite in a non-terrestrial network, whether a preconfigured uplink resource (PUR) configuration is valid. The UE may also transmit, to a base station (BS) via the satellite in response to determining that the PUR configuration is valid, a communication signal in a PUR. For example, the UE may determine, based on the location-related information associated with the satellite, if the parameter satisfies the threshold, and transmit UL data in a PUR occasion based on the determined parameter satisfying the threshold.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for synchronization signal block (SSB) transmission in different frequency intervals. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a first SSB from an entity in a non-terrestrial network (NTN) at a first time and frequency location. The method generally includes determining one or more time and frequency locations of one or more other SSBs from the entity in the NTN based on the first time and frequency location. The method generally includes monitoring for the one or more other SSBs at the determined one or more time and frequency locations.
