Abstract: A communication system includes a plurality of MESs arranged at different locations and operating as a unit to communicate with one or more satellites. One of the MESs is configured in a leader mode and each remaining MES of the MESs is configured in a follower mode based on a result of an auto-negotiation. In the leader mode, the one MES manages combining / dividing of satellite-related signals communicated between the one MES and each of the remaining MESs.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system including a network interface arranged to receive a data frame from one or more communication networks. A frame filter is arranged to receive the data frame from the network interface, wherein the frame filter selectively outputs the data frame to at least one of a second network interface or a direct memory access (DMA) controller based on a data frame type. The DMA controller is arranged to store a received data frame to shared memory and transmit an interrupt signal to a media access control (MAC) driver after the received data frame is stored in the shared memory so that the MAC driver can initiate an interrupt handler in response to the interrupt signal to retrieve the stored data frame.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a satellite of a non-terrestrial network (NTN) may establish communications on a beam of the satellite. The UE may receive, on a first carrier of a first set of carriers associated with a first beam, a configuration for the first set of carriers associated with the first beam and a second set of carriers associated with a second beam. The first carrier may be used to send a first set of synchronization signals, and a second carrier of the second set of carriers may be used to send a second set of synchronization signals. The UE may identify some system information associated with the second set of carriers based on the configuration and reselect to the second beam based on the configuration.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a non-terrestrial network (NTN) entity, a message that is associated with an uplink grant. The UE may select, based at least in part on the message, either a cell-specific offset or an updated offset that is indicated after initial access, as a timing offset that accounts for a propagation delay between a base station of the NTN and the UE. Abstract: A method for wireless communication includes validating a PUR configuration in a NTN based on location-related information associated with a satellite.
