Abstract: A mobile device for enhanced mobile device wireless network connectivity is provided that includes a user interface, a hardware processor, and a non-transitory memory configured to store one or more programs. The hardware processor executes the one or more programs to store a map of wireless networks, calculate a route of travel for the mobile device, and determine a list of wireless networks connectable to the mobile device. A schedule is created for connecting the mobile device to the wireless networks on the list and connecting the mobile device to a first one of the wireless networks on the schedule along the route. The mobile device switches sequentially from the first one of the wireless networks to a next one of the wireless networks in the schedule so the mobile device is connected to at least one of the wireless networks on the schedule while moving along the route.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method performed by a first node (101). The method is for handling managing one or more indications. The first node (101) operates in a communications system (100). The first node (101) determines (304) a scheduling of a transfer of data to or from a device (130) along a predicted route (140). The predicted route (140) is to be followed by the device (130) during a time period. The determining (304) of the scheduling is further based on a type of energy used by a plurality of cells (121, 122) providing radio coverage along the predicted route (140). The first node (101) initiates (305) providing one or more indications to the device (130) based on a first result of the determining (304) of the scheduling. The device (130) receives (402) the one or more indications, determines (403) whether or not to perform the data transfer based on them, and initiates (404) performing the data transfer accordingly.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine, during an active call on a first radio access technology (RAT), that a first condition for performing a handover from the first RAT to a second RAT is satisfied. The UE may determine that the second RAT would trigger a fallback to a third RAT after the handover from the first RAT to the second RAT and that a second condition for performing a handover from the third RAT to the first RAT is satisfied. The UE may refrain from performing the handover from the first RAT to the second RAT based at least in part on the determination that the second RAT would trigger the fallback and the determination that the second condition is satisfied. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: A method of transmitting or receiving data by a communications device in a wireless communications network, the method comprising: establishing a connection for transmitting or receiving the data in a first cell of the wireless communications network, determining a value of one or more input parameters, using the value of the one or more input parameters as inputs to a model trained using machine learning, determining, based on an output of the model, that the communications device should perform a handover to establish a connection in a second cell, and responsive to determining that the communications device should establish a connection in the second cell, transmitting a handover message to request the establishment of a connection in a second cell.
