    Abstract: A system is created for an efficient dimming LED lighting system, and comprising a voltage source, an electronic switch controlled by a pulse width modulation, PWM, driving signal and an LED lighting module connected in series. The LED comprises an LED group and a constant current drive circuit to drive a constant current through the LED group. The voltage source and a bypass branch, which is connected in parallel with the electronic switch, is adapted such that when the electronic switch is open, a power delivered to the constant current drive circuit is sufficient to maintain operation of the constant current drive circuit, ensuring capability for a deep dimming.

    Abstract: The present subject matter relates generally to an integrated driver circuit (101) for an illumination system of a vehicle (100). The integrated driver circuit (101) integrates a transient over voltage protection circuit, a filtering circuit and a reverse polarity protection circuit with a single control unit (106) in order to monitor the current being sent to plurality of LED lamps (LED1, LED2, LED3) provided in the vehicle and to control the illumination of plurality of the LED lamps (LED1, LED2, LED3) through plurality of MOSFET switches (M1, M4, M2) by controlling the gate voltage of the MOSFET switches (M1, M4, M2). The integration is enabled by using a single driver circuit instead of multiple drivers for each lamp in the vehicle. Integrated driver integrates the actuation of each of the lamp independently.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for controlled illumination of LEDs. An example system comprises: a plurality of LEDs; an LED controller; a current buffer adapted to receive an input bias level signal from the LED controller, wherein a set of LEDs to be controlled together are connected in parallel with each other in a circuit with the current buffer; and at least one current limiting resistor connected in the circuit with the plurality of LEDs and the current buffer. The systems and methods are adapted to control the illumination of the LEDs by applying a constant voltage to the circuit based upon the input bias level signal, thereby controlling the illumination of the light-emitting diodes without the use of pulse width modulation. Crosstalk interference with RFID components due to pulse width modulation is thereby avoided.

    Abstract: Mit der vorliegenden Erfindung wird für abtrennbare Endlos-Konstantspannungs-LED- Streifen bestehend aus einer Vielzahl von aneinandergereihten Lichterzeugermodulen (10) die Möglichkeit geboten, mittels Anschluss eines Kabels/Klemme/Stecker oder durch Anbringung eine Lötbrücke auf verschiedene durch eine markierte Verbindungsschnittstelle (11) unterbrechbare Lötpads (2, 4, 5), die Leistung/Lichtstrom eines LED-Streifens bzw. LED-Strips (SELV) über seine gesamte Länge hinsichtlich seiner Lichtleistung zu konfigurieren. Da der LED-Strip (1) in seiner Leistung/Lichtstrom konfiguriert werden kann, kann somit auf die Lagerlegung weiterer Typen solcher Konstantspannungs-LED-Streifen mit unterschiedlicher Leistung/Lichtstrom verzichtet werden und der Lagerbestand massiv reduziert werden. Die Flexibilität des Einsatzes des SELV ist dadurch deutlich erhöht. Es wird dem Fachmann darüber hinaus ermöglicht auch nachträglich sehr einfach die Lichtleistung eines entsprechend ausgerüsteten Leuchtkörpers zu verändern.

    Abstract: A LED driver circuit uses a first current source circuit to set an output current, controlled by pulse width modulation and a second current source circuit for charging a storage capacitor. A compensating arrangement is used for increasing the current delivered by the second current source circuit during off period times of the pulse width modulation. This compensates the current drawn from the input and enables better timing control of the input current pulses.
