Abstract: It is well known that fireworks are a fundamental theatrical experience for many people. However, there are individuals and certain settings that cannot experience traditional fireworks – concerns with flammability from pyrotechnic materials often leads to a ban on fireworks in areas prone to drought, for example. For areas that cannot make use of traditional fireworks, there is a need for a suitable replacement. Discussed herein are multiple approaches to emulating a traditional fireworks show, and in a manner that does not pose a burning hazard, can be used in residential areas (as well as more traditional areas), and can emulate the look and feel of traditional fireworks. Also discussed are additional features which may not be common to some fireworks shows, but enhance a theatrical experience nonetheless at a lower operating cost.

Abstract: Die Erfindung betrifft ein elektrisches Anschlusssystem bei LED-Profilsystemen (60) bzw. dessen Komponenten und deren Zusammenstellung. Speziell ein elektrisches Anschlusselement (40) zur elektrischen Versorgung eines LED-Streifens (70), welches als ein Flexprint-Streifen (41) ausgebildet ist. Das Anschlusselement (40) weist dabei einen Versorgungsanschluss-Längenbereich (43) mit offenliegenden Längs-Leiterbahnen (42), einem LED-Verbindungs-Längenbereich (44) mit Längs-Leiterbahnen (42) an den Positionen der Anschlüsse des LED-Streifens (70), sowie eine Klebefläche (45) auf der Rückseite des Anschlusselements (40) auf. Dabei ist das elektrische Anschlusselement (40) an einer Biegestelle (46) zwischen Versorgungsanschluss-Längenbereich (43) und LED-Verbindungs-Längenbereich (44) umfaltbar, sodass diese auf gegenüberliegenden Seiten des Profilsystems (60) zu liegen kommen. Alternativ oder zusätzlich auch ein zugehöriger elektrischer Verbinder (50) zur elektrischen Versorgung des LED-Streifens (70), welcher ein PCB (51) oder umspritzten Leadframe (51) mit Federkontakten (52) auf einer Unterseite (54) und einen Kabelabgang (67) mit Kabelverbindungen (53) auf einer Oberseite (55) aufweist, wobei ein Klipselement (56) zum Anbringen am Profilsystem (60) ausgebildet ist.

Abstract: A linear luminaire is disclosed. The linear luminaire includes a channel, in which a strip of linear lighting is disclosed. The strip of linear lighting may have an individual optic positioned over each LED light engine. A set of louvers is provided. The set of louvers is arranged such that an individual louver is positioned over each one of the LED light engines. The individual louvers are generally cylindrical in shape. The individual louvers are connected by a web or platform that carries engaging structure allowing the set of louvers to snap or slide into the channel. The channel is covered with a channel cover, which has edges that extend out over at least a portion of the channel sidewalls, making it more difficult for dust and other foreign matter to enter the channel. The channel cover may be transparent.
