    Abstract: 본 발명은 혈액을 일방향으로 유동시키는 혈액 펌프 및 이를 구비한 산화시스템에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 체외로부터 신체에 산소를 공급하도록 신체의 혈액을 산화기로 순환시키는 산화시스템 및 이 산화시스템에 사용되어 혈액을 일방향으로 유동시키는 혈액 펌프에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 혈액펌프는, 일측면에 기체 유출구가 형성된 외벽과, 외벽의 내부에 삽입되며 양 말단이 외벽의 양 말단에 각각 결합되는 주머니를 구비한 혈액 챔버, 혈액 챔버의 일 말단에 유체 연통 가능하게 결합되며, 혈액 챔버로의 혈액의 유동을 차단하는 펌프용 주입 밸브 및 혈액 챔버의 타 말단에 유체 연통 가능하게 결합되며, 혈액 챔버로부터의 혈액의 유동을 차단하는 펌프용 배출밸브를 포함 할 수 있다.

    Abstract: A vascular perfusion device and system include a first fluid pathway, a second fluid pathway, and a pressure source configured to expand and collapse the second fluid pathway. The second fluid pathway can be at least partially disposed within the first fluid pathway, and the second fluid pathway can have an expanded state and a collapsed state, such that in the expanded state, the second fluid pathway displaces a fluid in the first fluid pathway. The first fluid pathway can be one of a perfusate pathway or a gas pathway, and the second fluid pathway can be the other. When a perfusate is disposed in the perfusate pathway, and a gas is disposed in the gas pathway, at least a portion of the gas crosses from the gas pathway to the perfusate pathway to mix with the perfusate when the second fluid pathway can displace the fluid.

    Abstract: Mechanical circulatory support systems and methods are disclosed herein. In some examples, the present technology comprises a system for providing cardiac support to a patient where the system comprises a first elongated shaft configured to receive a delivery catheter therethrough, a second elongated shaft, and a pressure source coupled to the first and second elongated shafts. The first elongated shaft may have a distal end portion configured to be intravascularly positioned at a first cardiovascular location, and the second elongated shaft may have a distal end portion configured to be intravascularly positioned at a second cardiovascular location downstream of the first location. Pressure generated by the pressure source pulls blood from the first location proximally through the first shaft to the pressure source, then pushes the blood distally through the second shaft and into circulatory flow at the second cardiovascular location, thereby providing mechanical circulatory support to the patient.
