摘要: This disclosure is directed to systems and techniques configured to apply at least one criterion to health event data stored in a record for a patient for determining whether to remove at least a portion of the health event data from the record or retain that portion as an accurate reflection of patient health for that point- in-time. The health event data includes adjudicated health events and non-adjudicated health events over a first time period. Based on a determination that the health event data satisfies the at least one criterion, the example technique may direct the example system to remove the health event data corresponding to the adjudicated health events and the non-adjudicated health events from the record and then, adjust longitudinal diagnostic information of a second time period that includes the first time period.

摘要: A medical device having an elongate body with a proximal portion, a distal portion, and defining a lumen therethrough. The medical device has an expandable element coupled to the distal portion of the elongate body, the expandable element defining a proximal portion, a distal portion opposite the proximal portion and an intermediate portion disposed between the proximal portion and the distal portion. The expandable element also has an inner surface and an outer surface opposite the inner surface. The medical device has a plurality of cutting members, each cutting member being coupled with the outer surface of the expandable element, each cutting member having a proximal end and a distal end opposite the proximal end, the proximal end being proximate the proximal portion of the expandable element and the distal end being proximate to the intermediate portion of the expandable element.

摘要: This disclosure is directed to devices, systems, and techniques for delivering electrical stimulation. In some examples, a system includes processing circuitry configured to: receive information representative of a bioelectric brain signal recorded from a brain of a patient; and determine, based on the information, at least one pathological frequency of the bioelectric brain signal. Additionally, the processing circuitry is configured to select, based on the at least one pathological frequency, a sequence of pulse bursts at a pulse burst frequency, the sequence of pulse bursts at least partially defining electrical stimulation deliverable to an area of a brain of a patient, wherein adjacent pulse bursts within the sequence comprise different intra-burst pulse frequencies; and control a medical device to deliver the electrical stimulation comprising the sequence of pulse bursts to the area of the brain of the patient.

摘要: Transcatheter prosthesis delivery catheter assemblies having a catheter and a lumen extending through the catheter. Such assemblies also have a elongate body having an outer surface and extending at least partially within the lumen. The elongate body has a stop. Delivery catheter assemblies also include a capsule interconnected to the catheter with the elongate body, the capsule including a reservoir. A fluid path extends from the lumen to the reservoir, within the capsule. A prosthesis is loaded within the capsule. Methods can include delivering the capsule though a patient's vasculature to a treatment site and directing fluid in a direction from the lumen, over the elongate body and into the reservoir to cause the capsule to advance with respect to the catheter, at least partially unsheathing the prosthesis, until the stop restricts further movement of the capsule and prevents further fluid from being transferred from the lumen to the reservoir.

摘要: A surgical device includes a substrate and a first coating that covers at least a portion of the substrate. The first coating includes a first polymer. The first coating having antibiotics dispersed in the first polymer such that the first polymer releases the antibiotics as the first polymer degrades. A second coating covers at least a portion of the first coating. The second coating includes a second polymer. The second polymer includes an alginate. The second coating has a hemostatic agent dispersed in the second polymer such that the second polymer releases the hemostatic agent as the second polymer degrades. The hemostatic agent is selected from epinephrine, tranexamic acid, chitosan and oxidized regenerated cellulose. In some embodiments, systems and methods are disclosed.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, devices and techniques for improving the longevity of battery life in a second device. An example first device includes communication circuitry configured to communicate with the second device and one or more sensors configured to sense parameters associated with the first device. The first device includes processing circuitry configured to determine a first time period when a likelihood of successful communications with the second device is higher than a second time period based on the sensed parameters, and control the communication circuitry to communicate with the second device during the first time period and refrain from communicating with the second device during the second time period.

摘要: A system for accounting for adverse pacing artifacts may include an electrode apparatus and a computing apparatus. The electrode apparatus may include one or more external electrodes to monitor electrical activity from tissue of a patient. The computing apparatus may include one or more processors and may be operatively coupled to the electrode apparatus. The computing apparatus may be configured to monitor electrical activity from the tissue of the patient using the one or more external electrodes. Such electrical activity may be used to generate one or more cardiac signals of the patient over time. The computing apparatus may detect a pacing artifact in the one or more cardiac signals and determine whether to account for, and account for, the pacing artifact based on a pacing artifact characteristic of the pacing artifact when producing electrical heterogeneity information.
