Abstract: Seilbremse (10) zur Sicherung von fallenden Personen oder Gegenständen, insbesondere Kletterern (20), wobei die Seilbremse (10) in einem Sicherungspunkt (51) befestigt ist. Die erfindungsgemäße Seilbremse (10) weist ein Führungselement (A), dazu eingerichtet ein Sicherungsseil (40) zu führen, und ein Umlenkelement (11), welches einen Befestigungsabschnitt (111) und einen Bremsabschnitt (112) aufweist und beweglich gelagert ist, auf, wobei das Sicherungsseil (40) zwischen Führungselement (A) und Umlenkelement (11) durchgeführt ist. Die Seilbremse (10) weist ferner einen Anschlag (13) auf, dazu eingerichtet die Bewegung des Umlenkelements (11) zu begrenzen. Der Anschlag (13) ist dabei derart angeordnet, dass der Abstand zwischen dem Umlenkelement (11) und dem Führungselement (A) stets größer ist als der Durchmesser des Sicherungsseils (40). Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Seilbremse (10) sind zudem das Umlenkelement (11) und das Führungselement (A) derart zueinander angeordnet, dass das Sicherungsseil (40) in einem belasteten Zustand sowohl das Führungselement (A) als auch den Bremsabschnitt (112) berührt, dies in einem unbelasteten Zustand aber nicht tut.

By fixing the safety belt with the load wire rope by the gripper (13), the hand wire rope (11) will be pulled down and lowered.
