본 발명은 분해한 상태로 탱크의 좁은 입구를 통과시킨 후 탱크의 내부에서 손쉽게 조립하여 사용할 수 있도록 된 새로운 구조의 탱크 내부 도장용 대차에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 탱크 내부 도장용 대차는 대차본체(10)와 지지타워(40) 및 작업대(50)를 분해하여 탱크의 입구를 통해 탱크의 내부로 삽입한 후 대차본체(10)와 지지타워(40) 및 작업대(50)를 조립하여 도장작업을 하고, 대차본체(10)에 구비된 바퀴(21,22)를 이용하여 대차 전체를 이동시킬 수 있으므로, 탱크의 내부벽면에 비계를 설치하는 방법에 비하여, 작업이 간단하고, 비계의 설치 및 해체를 하기 위한 작업시간을 절감할 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 비계를 설치함에 따른 비용을 절감할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

Provided is a spray booth that includes a housing and a means for advancing the vehicle through the housing. The means for advancing may include a rail system that extends along the long axis of the housing and is off-set from the center of the short axis of the housing. The spray booth housing includes walls that define an area for locating a vehicle to be painted. The area defined by the walls includes regions for priming a vehicle to be painted, preparing a vehicle to be painted, and distinct painting areas for separately painting the vehicle that is engaged with them means for advancing and for painting parts that are not attached to the vehicle. The spray booth may also include one or more air handling systems for handling air that is flowed through the spray booth during the preparation and paint operations.
Abstract:
A sealing and repair technique is provided for forming complex and multiple seal configurations for fuel cells and other electrochemical cells. To provide a seal, for sealing chambers for oxidant, fuel and/or coolant, a groove network is provided extending through the various elements of the fuel cell assembly. A source of seal material is then connected to an external filling port and injected into the groove network, and the seal material is then cured to form the seal. There is thus formed a "seal in place", that is robust and can accommodate variations in tolerances and dimensions, and that can be bonded, where possible, to individual elements of the fuel cell assembly. To repair part of an electrochemical cell stack, some elements are removed and either repaired or replaced. The cell assembly is then put together again and a bore is provided for injection of fresh seal material. This bore can either have been formed in the original assembly or is formed by mechanical removal of part of the original seal material.

A coating apparatus for coating a perimeter surface of a pipeline. A frame selectively mounts a sprayer on the pipeline. The sprayer can spray fluid along a flow path in a spraying mode and preparation mode. In the preparation mode, a fluid diverter moves into the flow path to divert the fluid delivered from the sprayer away from the pipeline. In the spraying mode, the fluid diverter moves out of the flow path to permit the sprayer to coat the perimeter surface of the pipeline with a curable liquid. A vacuum system can draw a vacuum through the diverter to remove the fluid the sprayer sprays in the preparation mode. The flow path can be located in a spray shroud. The diverter can fluidly couple the vacuum system to the shroud interior in the spraying mode to remove overspray.

The present invention relates to a novel cart structure for painting the inner surface of a tank, in which the cart passes the narrow entrance of the tank while disassembled and is easily assembled in the tank to be used. The cart for painting an inner surface of a tank, according to the present invention, is configured in that a cart body (10), a support tower (40) and a worktable (50) are disassembled and inserted into the tank through the entrance of the tank, and then the cart body (10), the support tower (40) and the worktable (50) are assembled to carry out painting. The whole body of the cart can be moved by wheels (21,22) arranged on the cart body (10). The cart of the present invention has the advantages that work can be carried out in a simpler manner, time taken to install and dismantle a scaffold can be shortened, and the cost for installing the scaffold can be reduced as compared with the method of installing a scaffold on the inner wall of the tank.

A roll support apparatus suitable for use in a roll coating machine is described. The roll support apparatus includes a roll support frame for rotatably supporting a roll coating head roll associated with the roll support frame, the roll support frame adapted for pivoting movement relative to a roll support frame mounting base. Furthermore, a roll carriage suitable for use in a roll coating machine is described. The roll carriage includes a roll support frame for rotatably supporting a respective roll and further includes a roll support frame mounting means for movably mounting the roll support frame so that it moves between a coating position and an idle position, wherein the roll support frame mounting means in use is mounted substantially above the respective roll to inhibit contamination of the roll support frame mounting means.

The invention concerns the installation of a novel industrial device and resulting stripping and/or painting work stations. More particularly it concerns the installation of a robot platform comprising in particular: a work station for receiving vehicles to be stripped, one or several mobile or fixed remote-controlled stripping and/or painting devices; one or several chambers for storing paints and tools, and for treating residues generated by the stripping process; a station for supervising the stripping processes and the processes treating the residues generated by stripping. All said items of equipment are interconnected by computerised and energy connections. The invention is for the maintenance and/or renovation of transport vehicles bodywork.
