A combination inflatable and web-based restraint for a motor vehicle seat may include an occupant restraint collar having an arcuate portion with first and second spaced apart legs each joined thereto or integral therewith, the collar configured to extend about a neck and over opposite shoulders of an occupant of the seat, first and second shoulder webs of the restraint each movably coupled to a respective one of the first and second legs such the collar is movable along the first and second shoulder webs, an inflatable airbag housed, in an uninflated state, within the arcuate portion and the first and second legs of the collar, the airbag and configured to open a seam of, and extend out of, the arcuate portion and the first and second legs upon deployment thereof, and at least one inflator fluidly coupled to the airbag for deploying the airbag.

A seatbeltsystem for adapting to a seat occupant's body an inflatable seatbelt of a seat of a vehicle. The invention relates to a seatbelt system (32) for adapting an inflatable seatbelt (33) to a seat occupant (30) comprising: - a vehicle seat (31), - An inflatable seatbelt (33) comprising at least one cushion layer (33a) into which a gas is introduced, a belt buckle (34), a shaft rotation (35) and a return spring (36), - A gas generator for supplying a gas into the at least one cushion layer (33a) of the inflatable belt (33), - At least one sensor (37, 38, 39, 40) located in the seatbelt system (32) for determining the presence and the body shape of the seat occupant (30) on the seat (31) configured to generate one or more signals indicative of at least one parameter associated with presence and the body shape of the seat occupant (30), - A controller (22) capable of receiving the one or more signals associated with the presence and a body shape of the seat occupant (30) on the seat (31) and analysing the received one or more signals and processing the inflation of the at least one seatbelt cushion layer (33a) while driving based on the analysis.

La presente invención describe un conjunto de dispositivos para la seguridad del conductor y de su acompañante de una motocicleta; donde la invención comprende correas entrecruzadas para el pecho y espalda, correas longitudinales para los hombros, correas dispuestas en la motocicleta a la altura de donde reposan los muslos del usuario, elementos de unión para conectar las correas con el bastidor de la motocicleta, un par de rejillas protectoras de malla metálica en cada lado de la motocicleta para proteger las piernas. La presente invención asegura la permanencia del conductor y su acompañante a la motocicleta ante un accidente ya que los asegura firmemente mediante un conjunto de correas, además protege las piernas ante un impacto o deslizamiento.

A restraint device for restraining an occupant in a vehicle includes a belt, an inflator, a gas guide, and a flexible tether. The belt includes a first layer, a second layer, and a seal between the first and second layers. The first and second layers extend from a first end of the belt to a second end of the belt. The seal cooperates with the first and second layers to form an inflatable portion of the belt. The inflator is operable to provide pressurized gas. The gas guide has a first end placed over an outlet of the inflator and a second end extending into the inflatable portion of the belt. The flexible tether secures the gas guide to the belt.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein aufblasbares Gurtband (3) für eine Sicherheitsgurteinrichtung mit; -wenigstens zwei Weblagen (10, 11), welche einen Hohlraum (17) zwischen sich einschließen und an den Randseiten (15, 16) miteinander Yerbunden sind, wobei -die Weblagen (10, 11) an den beiden Randseiten (15, 16) mit einer unterschiedlichen Festigkeit miteinander verbunden sind.

An inflatable shoulder harness assembly (20) for an aircraft seat (22) including a shoulder belt (28), a retractor (38), an airbag (32) contained within an outer cover (34), and a belt guide (40) slidably receiving the inflatable airbag (32) and outer cover (34) therein when the shoulder belt (28) is retracted, the belt guide (40), defining an elongate channel for facilitating free movement of the outer cover (34) during belt fastening and retraction. The assembly further includes an exit bezel (44) for finishing the look of the seat and a stiffening element for preventing kinking, bunching and twisting of the outer cover.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Aufrollvorrichtung (1) zum Aufrollen eines Gurtbandes (2), umfassend eine Spule (3) zum Aufrollen eines Gurtbandes (2) um eine Mantelfläche (4) der sich um eine Drehachse drehenden Spule (3) herum. Gemäß der Erfindung ist die Mantelfläche (4) zur Drehachse (5) der Spule (3) in axialer Richtung zur Drehachse (5) zumindest teilweise geneigt oder gewölbt. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine gegenüber dem Stand der Technik verbesserte Aufrollvorrichtung zum Aufrollen eines Gurtbandes und ein verbessertes Sicherheitsgurtsystem, umfassend eine solche Aufrollvorrichtung, anzugeben.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Sicherheitsgurteinrichtung mit einer Vorrichtung zum Aufblasen eines wenigstens zweilagigen Sicherheitsgurtes (2) für ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einem Gasgenerator (4), welcher bei einer Aktivierung einen von außen auf den Sicherheitsgurt (2) gerichteten Gasstrom erzeugt, und einem fahrzeugfesten Umlenker (5), in dem der Sicherheitsgurt (2) zu einem die Brust eines Insassen kreuzenden Diagonalgurtabschnitt (3) umgelenkt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Vorrichtung zum Aufblasen des Sicherheitsgurtes (2) an dem Umlenker (5) angeordnet ist.
