Abstract: A pivot bin assembly that includes an upper housing having a top and first and second housing side walls that each include a lower edge, a bucket that cooperates with the upper housing to define a bin interior and a first compression member. The bucket includes a bottom and first and second bucket side walls that each include an upper edge and pivots with respect to the upper housing between open and closed positions. The first housing side wall and the first bucket side wall cooperate to define a first compression member opening where the first compression member is positioned. The first compression member includes a main body portion having a plurality of cells that are defined by a plurality of sidewalls. The plurality of cells are comprised of a compliant material that compresses as the bucket moves to the open position to provide dampening and expands as the bucket moves to the closed position to provide lift assist.

Abstract: A keeper (10) for orderly storage and/or conveyance of clothing hangers (26) includes an elongate hanger collection and retention chute (11) dependently supported within a chute support recess (17), which recess (17) is provided in connection with a generally elongate rigid body (16). The chute (11) comprises an open end (12) to a central slot (13), running substantially the length of the chute (11), and whereby the chute (11) receives the corner portion (27) of a number of clothing hangers (26). The rigid body (16) has a guide (19) directing the corner portion (27) of a hanger (26) through an open throat (18) of the body (16) and into the open end (12) of the collection and retention chute (11). Protuberances (14), provided in generally aligned pairs extending from the interior side walls of the chute (11), jut inward toward the central slot (13) to demark, and serve as stops between, provided adjacent hanger support slots (15).

Abstract: Apparatuses for associating a portable electronic device with a cup holder are provided. The apparatuses may be formed from wire and/or make use of a leaf spring design and retain association with the portable electronic device through clamping and retain association with a cup holder through the use of a resiliently deformable element that can be deformed to a size smaller than the cup holder and when released, can push up against the walls of the cup holder with sufficient force to retain association therewith. In some embodiments, when the apparatus is used in a cup holder, the cup holder remains available to receive cups or other objects.
