Abstract:
This document relates to methods for improving the tensile and elastic properties of cement of an oil well using cement compositions that contain sliding-ring polymer additives. The cement compositions containing the sliding-ring polymer additives exhibit increased stiffness while having a minimum impact on compressive strength, as compared to the same cement without the sliding-ring polymer additive.
Abstract:
The present application relates to fire resistant compositions, particularly fire resistant compositions comprising an inorganic filler. In particular, the disclosure relates to cladding compositions and composite panels comprising the fire resistant cladding compositions. The disclosure also relates to the preparation of such compositions, composite panels and to their use.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a system of jointing and finishing plasterboard sheets. The system comprises adjacently abutted first and second plasterboard sheets and a connective material. The connective material is applied to a region at or near the side edge portions of the first and second plasterboard sheets and which securely joins the side edge portion of the first plasterboard sheet to the side edge portion of the second plasterboard sheet. There is also provided a joint filling compound and a finishing compound, which are optionally also applied to the region of the first and second plasterboard sheets.
