Abstract:
The present invention comprises a strap assembly that permits various decorative items to be worn comfortably on the head of a pet without easily falling or being pulled off. The strap assembly can be made of a thin, clear or translucent elastic plastic material making it nearly invisible. Alternatively, the strap can be made of a colored or opaque plastic material, or even a woven fabric.
Abstract:
Abstract:
An elastomeric tape (100, 200) having a shape configuration that provides an enhanced longitudinal stretch characteristic is provided herein. The exemplary tape (100, 200) comprises a first surface (210), a second surface (212) opposite the first surface (210), a first side (110) and a second side (112) opposite the first side (110) where the first side (110) comprises a series of alternating peaks (113, 114) and troughs (115, 118) and the second side (112) comprises a series of alternating peaks (114, 116) and troughs (118, 120).
Abstract:
Abstract:
Tape articles having improved properties are made from ultra-high molecular weight (UHMW) multi-filament yarns. The tape articles can have a ratio of the low temperature area under the curve (120° C to Tm-onset) to the total area under the curve (120° C to 165° C) of less than about 0.15 as calculated from an increasing temperature DSC scan from a temperature of 30° C to a temperature of 200° C at a constant rate of 10° C per minute. Additionally, in some examples the tape articles can also have a tenacity at least about 24 g/d (2.06 GPa) when measured by ASTM D882-09 at a 10 inch (25.4 cm) gauge length and at an extension rate of 100%/min. Further, the tape articles can have no long period of less than 450 Angstroms () when measured by small angle x-ray analysis.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A termination strip (2) for linen products (3) like for example tablecloths, curtains, bed spreads, pillow-cases, and so on I 5 proposed, wherein said strip consisting either of a woven fabric made with natural, synthetic or mixed fibers or of a non-wove fabric at will on the side thereof to be fixed to said linen product (3 consisting either of a woven fabric made with natural, synthetic or mixed fibers or of a non-woven fabric is provided with a thermoweldable adhesive layer. Said strips (2) as well as printed decoration designs which may by cut out from said strips (2) a inserts (4) may then be fixed on a respective linen product (3) b means of a thermofixing phase by ironing.
Abstract:
Elastic thread lines can extend along borders of puckering areas of a fabric. The thread lines can include elastic thread line sections of the thread lines passing through thread line intersections and segments of the thread lines between the intersections. The elastic thread lines can bias the puckering areas in multiple different non-parallel directions toward a puckered configuration. In the puckered configuration, the puckering areas can be gathered together to pucker the fabric. The fabric can be stitched together to form a product, such as a sleeping bag sack that is stretchable in multiple orthogonal directions by stretching the thread lines. Elastic thread line sections passing through intersections can be made more secure by forming thread line section patterns that increase numbers of thread line crossings at the intersections. Densities of thread lines in different directions can be selected to produce different amounts of gathering, and for security.
