During installation of an insulation system a plurality of the clip are coupled to a support beam and disposed within a plurality of notches of a second insulation board. The plurality of clips further include a width that is substantially equal to a width of the plurality of notches such that during the installation of the insulation system the plurality of clips are disposable within the plurality of notches to allow a second side of a first insulation board to contact a first side of the second insulation board and the securing mechanism secures a back surface of the first insulation board against the plurality of clips.

    Abstract: A system for insulating a curtain wall structure is disclosed. The system includes a plurality of insulation hangers, a curtain wall insulation, and a safing insulation. The insulation hangers include a reinforcing member that engages a horizontal transom of the curtain wall structure. The system is attached only to horizontal transoms of the curtain wall structure via the insulation hangers to provide ease of installation and/or enhanced reliability.

    Abstract: An adjustable hanger for attaching an elongate beam to a support member has a base member with opposite sides and a support web. A leveling member with a top panel is attachable to the base member in a vertically reciprocal engagement. The top panel includes a rear flange for supporting on a surface of a support member, whereupon the support web is parallel with the surface of the support member. The leveling member is movable relative to the base member to accommodate elongate beams having different height dimensions. Once the beam is attached to the support member via fasteners, the leveling member may be detached from the base member. The leveling member or base member may have cooperative posts or legs and slots to facilitate engagement between them. A breakable cuff in the base member may engage a post of the leveling member to allow reciprocation followed by detachment.

    Abstract: A building panel assembly is provided for a modular building. The panel assembly is configured to provide a structural wall, roof, floor of a building comprising a plurality of panels. Each panel comprises an outer layer, having a first flange extending from a first distal end and a second flange at an opposing end. Each panel comprises an intermediate layer, which may include insulating material, sandwiched between the inner and outer layers.     Abstract: A clamp for controlling uplift of panels of a metal roof is provided where the clamp secures two adjacent panels together. In some embodiments, the clamp has a slot configured to receive a roof joint between adjacent panels, and the clamp has at least one arm that secures the roof joint within the clamp and prevents the clamp from being pulled off of the roof joint. In addition, the clamp may have a channel and at least one protrusion that locate the roof joint within the clamp in a predetermined position to ensure that a bar component such as a bolt or a set screw can secure the roof joint within the clamp. Moreover, further features and arrangements of features can better position the clamp over a center of the roof joint.

    Abstract: A joint connection structure of a building framework includes a column assembly including a column and a pair of side plates attached to the column on opposite sides of the column and extending laterally outward from the column. A beam assembly includes a beam having an end portion received between the side plates. At least one of the column and the beam has an opening in an area between the side plates to provide access for bolting at least one of the side plates to one of the column and the beam. The opening is free of a fastener extending through the opening when the column assembly is attached to the beam assembly.
