    Abstract: A coiled tubing heating head tool system includes a tool connected at a connector to a terminal end of coiled tubing, the tool having a tubular extending from the connector to a heating head having a heater, a fluid passage extending from a discharge port in the tubular through the connector into the coiled tubing, and a one-way valve in the fluid passage between the discharge port and the connector, and a power cable electrically coupled to the heater and extending through the tubular, the connector, and the coiled tubing, to an electrical power source.

    Abstract: A subsea chemical injection system and method for injecting chemicals into a hydrocarbon production assembly adjacent the seabed wherein a seawater volume flowmeter is utilized to measure seawater pumped through the system and a chemical subsea mass flowmeter is used to measure a chemical injected into the seawater, where the chemical subsea mass flowmeter measures the chemical at a pressure less than the seawater pumped through the system. Based on the chemical subsea mass flowmeter measurement, the flowrate of a chemical injected into the seawater can be adjusted to a predetermined setpoint corresponding to the flowrate of seawater pumped through the system. The chemical subsea mass flowmeter includes a Coriolis tube and chemical injection process pump housed within a pressure vessel. The subsea chemical injection system may be carried on a skid.

    Abstract: Macroparticulates may be formed through at least partial self-assembly by reacting an epoxide-containing (meth)acrylic polymer or copolymer with a compound bearing a nitrogen nucleophile. An internal cavity may be formed when functionalizing the (meth)acrylic polymer or copolymer in the presence of a hindered amine base. When appropriately functionalized, the macroparticulates may be used to sequester a contaminant from a substance in need of contaminant remediation, such as produced water or flowback water from a wellbore job site. Reclaimed water obtained from the macroparticulates may be utilized to form a treatment fluid. The macroparticulates may be located within a continuous flow line, particularly within a removable cartridge, to promote removal of at least one contaminant from a substance in need of contaminant remediation. The substance in need of contaminant remediation and/or the macroparticulates may be visually or spectroscopically interrogated to determine whether the macroparticulates have become saturated with contaminant.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to compositions and methods for prevent the formation of and disperse aggregates and other poorly soluble materials in hydrocarbon fluids. The compositions include an asphaltene dispersant prepared from the reaction of a polyethyleneimine (PEI) dendrimer and one or more derivatizing reagents wherein the polyethylene dendrimer has a weight average molecular weight of greater than or equal to 9 kDa. The methods include emplacing in a wellbore a composition comprising an asphaltene inhibitor, wherein the asphaltene inhibitor is a compound prepared from the reaction of a polyethyleneimine dendrimer and one or more derivatizing reagents wherein the polyethylene dendrimer has a weight average molecular weight of greater than or equal to 9 kDa.
