Techniques described herein relate to systems and methods for parallel DNA molecules sequencing. A preprocessor can receive raw data frames from a sensor chip including 100,000 or more cells, where each raw data frame can include detection signals from the 100,000 or more cells at a given time during the formation of the 100,000 or more cells or during the DNA molecules sequencing using the 100,000 or more cells. The preprocessor can then extract relevant information for determining states of the cells from the raw data frames, generate one or more digested frames that includes the extracted information, and send the digested frames to a processor for processing, such as base determination. Because the number of digested frames sent to the processor is less than a number of the raw data frames and the digested frames include preprocessed data, the amount of data being transferred to the processor and the amount of data processing by the processor can be reduced.

A system and method for using asymmetrical offsets for products in a risk management analysis system are disclosed. Conventional systems assign symmetrical offsets for products, that is, if two products have an 80% correlation they each would be assigned an offset of 80% with respect to each other. However, it is desirable to allow for asymmetrical offsets. In the disclosed system and method, when two products have a correlation of 80%, one may be assigned an offset of 75% and the other may be assigned an offset of 80%. There are many reasons to vary the offset between the products. The varying offset may reflect an asymmetry in the risk in one of the products, such as being traded in an illiquid market or in a less desirable venue. The varying offset may correct for an imbalance in spread credits due to special charges from intra spreading.

A large number of different persons appear in a corpus of imagery data collectively captured by a plurality of on-road vehicles. An initial and limited-accuracy model of one of the persons is used to search and detect visual occurrences of that person in the corpus of imagery data, thereby starting to track that person, in which such search is limited at first to a confined geo-temporal range, in order to limit the number of different persons over which the initial and limited-accuracy model has to search and detect that person. When the visual occurrences of that person are found, a better model can be constructed, which can now be used to expand the geo-temporal range over which yet additional visual occurrences of that person are found and used to better track that person.
