摘要：
The electrodeposition of a protein directly onto an electrode suffers from a variety of problems such as reactions between the protein and the electrodes and gases produced by electrolysis of water at the electrode surfaces. In order to overcome these problems, at least one ion-exchange membrane (4,4') is placed between the electrodes (2,3) and the protein is caused to be deposited on one of the membranes by electrophoresis. This technique can be used to produce films of protein.
