摘要：
The present invention relates to a railway car body suitable for high speeds and a method of fabricating an air tight car body. In conventional bodies, not much consideration has been given with respect to the reduction in weight of the underframe (10) and the improvement of rigidity. The present invention provides a railway car body of reduced weight and which can withstand a variation of external pressure by provision of a construction in which the underframe (10) under the car body has a curved surface having at least one or more radii of curvature across the width of the car body.
