A multimedia optical disc containing a video data storage region; a control information storage region for control information comprising group information showing alternatively reproducible video data in each group, label IDs attached to the individual video data in the same group, and linkage information indicating video data to be reproduced subsequently to each video data; and a label map recording region on which tables for different countries or districts which have information for mapping classification labels and the label IDs in classification systems determined in different countries or districts are recorded. According to this structure, the video data are grouped and distinguished from one another by the label IDs, and any classification label of any classification system can be correlated definitely with the label ID.
