The memory stores instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to receive information about a time interval and user interface information, which are associated with a response to a user utterance input to a first external electronic device, from a second external electronic device through the communication circuit, to determine whether the display is in an active state within the time interval, and to provide a first user interface corresponding to the user interface information through the display based on the determination that the display is in the active state within the time interval.
