The targeted therapy may include a functional and/or therapeutic agent separate from the stent, or a component of a functional and/or therapeutic agent separate from the stent and reactive with another component of a functional and/or therapeutic agent on the stent. The agent or component of an agent may be delivered with the stent, and/or before delivery of the stent, and/or after the stent has been delivered.
