Abstract:
The method and system of the present invention allow for the integration of different electronic commerce ("e-commerce") and electronic banking ("e-banking") technologies to advantageously provide an increased level of services to banking customers including consumers and merchants. A particular feature of the present invention is the integration of a television interface (2) with e-commerce, home banking (12) and credit/debit card processing services (10) and internet technologies (20) to provide a single conduit for merchants (30) and consumers to financial services networks.
