Adjustment of the flexible support characteristic in response to user requirements enables the bed-couch (105) to provide an enhanced degree of user comfort.

As a result of this construction, a lifting force will be generated during forward traved in the water. Said face portion is configured on that side of the profile which produces a lifting force counterdirectional to a steering force, deriving from the motor torque, upon the wing profile.

When running at planning speed straight ahead, the underwater housings are set with 'toe-in', i.e. inclined towards each other with opposite angles (α) of equal magnitude relative to the boat centre line (b).
