The method further includes determining whether a violation of protected airspace is predicted between the target aircraft and an ownship, based at least in part on the predicted trajectory for the target aircraft and a predicted trajectory for the ownship. The method further includes generating an alert output in response to determining that the violation of protected airspace is predicted.

The at least one proxy limit value identifies to what extent one or more process variables controlled by the slave MPC controller(s) are adjustable without violating any process variable constraints. In addition, the method includes performing plantwide optimization at the master MPC controller using the planning model and the at least one proxy limit value. The at least one proxy limit value allows the master MPC controller to honor the process variable constraints of the slave MPC controller(s) during the plantwide optimization.

摘要: A method of level finding includes providing characteristics of a shape of a transmitted pulse in time domain launched onto a waveguide into a tank having at least one material therein, physical properties of the waveguide and real and imaginary dielectric characteristics of the material at a frequency of the pulse. A level finding algorithm having a coarse search and a fine search is implemented, where the coarse search minimizes a prediction error between an echo signal (echo curve y(k)) and a sampled pulse model echo p(k) to obtain an objective function J(k) in a vicinity of a minimum prediction error (k*). The fine search calculates at least one minimum or maximum using J(k) in the vicinity of k*. The minimum or the maximum corresponds to a level of the material or an interface involving the material.

摘要: In the halogenation reaction of olefin/halo-olefin (i.e., organic), an excess amount of halogen gas (fluorine, chlorine, vaporized bromine and iodine, or their combination) is normally used in order to achieve as complete as possible conversion of the organic. In a conventional process, the excess halogen gas in the off-gas stream is scrubbed by caustic solution which increases the consumption of halogen and generates waste for disposal. The present invention provides a novel process to recover and reuse the excess halogen gas and thus reduce the operating cost of the process.
