Abstract:
A process for the removal by distillation of dinitrotoluene from process wastewater from the preparation of dinitrotoluene by nitration of toluene by means of nitrating acid, which is characterized in that the process wastewater is brought to a pH of > 8.5, fed into a stripping column in the upper region thereof and stripped in countercurrent with steam to give a vapour stream which is laden with dinitrotoluene and a bottom stream which is depleted in dinitrotoluene compared to the process wastewater used, is proposed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for the continuous production of polyether alcohols via reaction of H-functional starter substances with alkylene oxides using basic catalysts, characterized in that at least one starter substance is added continuously with at least one alkylene oxide in a back-mixed reactor, and the reaction product is continuously removed from the back-mixed reactor.
Abstract:
The continuous or semi-continuous method of brightening organic polyisocyanates with ozone-containing gas, wherein treatment of the organic polyisocyanate is done using an ozone-containing gas that further comprises at least one other inert and/or reactive gas, can be carried out according to the invention in a stirred vessel with a connected storage tank in a sieve-plate column or in a packed column.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing an isocyanate, comprising hydrogenation of an amimne-ciontaining mixture (Gi) in the presence of a copper containing hydrogenation catalyst to give a mixture (Gii) containing the amine and reacting the mixture (Gii) with phosgene to give a mixture (Gii) containing the isocyanate. The invention further relates to the isocyanate which may be produced by said method.
