The method comprises the administration of a novel compound of formula (Ia), (Ib) or (Ic) wherein: R and R are H, alkyl, halogeno, OH, alkoxy, NH2, alkylamino, dialkylamino, CF3, SO3H, CO2R , NO2, SO2NH2, or CONHR ; n is 0 or 1; R is a group of the formula R C(O)-, R CH2C(O)-, R C(R )2C(O)-, R SO2-, R CH2SO2-, R SCH2C(O)-, R OC(O)-, R NHC(O)-, R C(O)C(O)- or R SC(O)-; R is alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, arylalkenyl, heteroaryl, heteroarylalkyl, heteroarylalkenyl or heterocycloalkyl; and R is alkyl or C(R )2 is a carboxyclic ring; or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
