    摘要: In an image-forming section, a communication device is attached to the top surface of a developing cartridge that is detachably attached to a developing device, and a main body side communication device is attached to a copying machine main body in a manner so as to face the top portion of the communication device. When an loading operation of the developing cartridge to the copying machine main body is carried out, the main body side communication device detects this operation, and sends an electric wave for an electrical supply to the developing cartridge. The communication device transmits individual information of the developing cartridge by means of radio waves, and the main body side communication device receives, demodulates and reads this information. Based upon the results thereof, it makes a judgment as to conformity and suitability of the developing cartridge, and displays the results of the judgement or gives a warning as to the results. Thus, it becomes possible to prevent an erroneous insertion of any unit to the image-forming apparatus main body by using a method with high reliability at low costs. It is possible to provide not only the developer supplying container, but also image-forming apparatus units serving as various units related to image-forming processes and an image-forming apparatus using such units.

    摘要: An input device used for an image processing apparatus is disclosed. The input device of the invention includes: an operation panel through which, when a point on the operation panel is touched, vibrations are propagated from the point, the operation panel having a predetermined reference point; a plurality of sensors, disposed at a plurality of positions on the operation panel, for detecting the vibrations, each of the sensors outputting a detection signal at the detection of the vibration; and an arithmetic circuit for receiving the detection signal from each of the plurality of sensors, and for calculating a position vector of the touched point on the basis of the detection signals. The input device further includes position vector correcting means. The position vector correcting means has: a first memory for storing a reference position vector which represents the position of the reference point; means for calculating a difference between the reference position vector and a position vector of the reference point which is calculated on the basis of the detection signals output from the plurality of sensors after the reference point is touched; a second memory for storing the difference; and correcting means for correcting the position vector of the point which is calculated by the arithmetic circuit, based on the difference.

Moreover, even when making copies from a copied image which was produced through subsequent copying, the formed images always have the same quality of the original.
