The transparent cover 26 drives the preset pressure indicating member 31 to set a preset pressure range between the first display section 35 and the second display section 37 which is observable from the outside through the transparent cover 26.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a pressure-thermometer in same time (thermometer combined with manometer) capable of achieving one combined meter in which a Bourdon tube manometer and a bimetal type thermometer are combined. A pressure scale and a temperature scale are separately formed on a character plate in a rectangular or circular casing. There is provided a separation type manometer-combined thermometer in which the centers of a pressure indication hand and a temperature indication hand are separated. There is provided an integration type manometer combined thermometer in which a pressure indication hand and a temperature indication hand are utilized together based on the same center. The above two constructions are achieved based on a dual shank and a dual movement.

    摘要: This invention relates to apparatus and methods for filling a conventional Bourdon tube (12) with an outgassed fluid to permit use of the Bourdon tube to measure fluid pressures at high temperatures. The filling device includes a hot reservoir (38) containing hydraulic fluid that has been heated to facilitate outgassing and a cold reservoir (40) in fluid communication with the hot reservoir (38) to prevent exposure of the fluid in the hot reservoir to oxygen. A vacuum line (52) connected to the cold reservoir (40) permits evacuation of the filling apparatus, the Bourdon tube and a typical bellows (18) that may be attached to the Bourdon tube. The bellows (18) is mechanically compressed and provided with a center post (22) to reduce the volume of the bellows by about fifty percent. After the Bourdon tube, the bellows and the hydraulic fluid in the hot reservoir have been heated and outgassed, the vacuum is removed from the cold reservoir to permit hydraulic fluid to flow from the hot reservoir into the bellows and Bourdon tube. After the Bourdon tube and bellows are filled, the filling apparatus is disconnected from the fill port, which is then plugged to prevent leakage.
