摘要: A sheet feeding apparatus (110) includes a sheet stacker (111), an air blower (112), a suction feeder (113), a lifting mechanism (115), an elevation detection sensor (116), an elevation detection sensor (116), a feed detection sensor (117), and a controller (150). The air blower (112) blows air to float an uppermost sheet of sheets stacked on the sheet stacker. The controller drives the lifting mechanism such that the sheet stacker is lifted by an elevation amount determined based on a sheet thickness (t) of the sheets stacked on the sheet stacker, each time a sheet is detected when a number of sheets detected is smaller than a threshold number of sheets, and stops lifting of the sheet stacker until a sheet is not detected when the number of sheets reaches the threshold number of sheets, while repeatedly feeding the uppermost sheet and counting the number of sheets.

摘要: An endless conveyer belt 3 is stretched between drive and idle rollers 1, 2. A carriage 8 is arranged so as to reciprocate along the endless conveyer belt. A suction box 11 is arranged between upper and lower belt portions 3c, 3d of the endless conveyer belt and fixed to the carriage. A stopper plate 14 is fixed to the carriage and extends across a conveyer surface 3b and upward from the conveyer surface. A conveyance roller pair 13 is arranged at the upstream end of the conveyer surface. A region of the conveyer surface from a stopper plate 14 to the upstream end u forms a sheet accumulation area 15. A cover sheet 17 covers a region upstream of the suction box in the sheet accumulation area. The cover sheet is subjected to tension in the longitudinal direction by a winding-type constant force plate spring 18 and continually tensed spaced apart from the endless conveyer belt.

摘要: Disclosed is a paper feeding device (10) comprising a storage surface (14) for a stack of papers (12), with a leading edge (14a), a trailing edge (14b), and a first and a second side edge (14c, 14d). The surface (14) is adapted to be moved vertically. The device further comprises a vacuum feeder (16) for feeding papers from their position on the storage surface (14) and imparting on an uppermost sheet of paper (12a) a horizontal displacement, and a blower arrangement (18, 20) adapted to provide a curtain of air separating the uppermost sheet of paper (12a) from the rest of the stack of papers. The blower arrangement comprises a front blower unit (20) having air openings with a first portion (20a) adapted to create first air cones (20a′) and second portions (20b) adapted to create second air cones (20b′), wherein the first air cones (20a) are different from the second air cones (20b′).
