An application running on a computing platform that employs three-dimensional (3D) modeling is extended using a virtual viewport into which 3D holograms are rendered by a mixed-reality head mounted display (HMD) device. The HMD device user can position the viewport to be rendered next to a real world 2D monitor and use it as a natural extension of the 3D modeling application. For example, the user can interact with modeled objects in mixed-reality and move objects between the monitor and the viewport. The 3D modeling application and HMD device are configured to exchange scene data for modeled objects (such as geometry, lighting, rotation, scale) and user interface parameters (such as mouse and keyboard inputs). The HMD device implements head tracking to determine where the user is looking so that user inputs are appropriately directed to the monitor or viewport.

Installed bar as tangent or cotangent line to the circle to represent the Tan and Cot of (G). So (RB) represents Cos G, (RF) represents Sin G. This apparatus will show in easy and clear way the characteristics and properties of Sin, Cos, Tan and Cot functions . Other concepts could be demonstrated by the same construction, as concept of arc, radian etc, also the said construction could draw the graphs of the mentioned functions through a system including pens and papers.

Die Mosaikelemente (1 bis 16) lassen sich dadurch konstruieren, daß man das reguläre Vieleck in eine Menge von Rhomben (1 bis 16b) unterteilt, die mehrere Teilmengen aus unter sich gleichen, jedoch von Teilmenge zu Teilmenge verschieden geformten Rhomben enthält. Method for describing a thread as a geometric object in a three dimensional computer graphics system. The method comprises generating a set of fixture points defining points in space through which the thread passes, generating a set of one or more segments representing the thread between adjacent fixture points, linking each segment to a pair of fixture points, one at each end of the respective segment, and describing the geometrical properties of each segment. The segments and fixture points are preferably defined as objects containing functions and variables allowing the exchange of data between the various objects. The method allows for the calculation of the shape of the thread based on a calculation of the shape of each individual segment. A simulation system utilizing the method receives update information such as control signals, over an input interface and includes instructions on a storage media and a processor for calculating the shape of the thread and outputting the result over an output interface.
