    摘要： The pulse laser light source apparatus in the OTDR apparatus of present invention comprises an optical waveguide which receives and guides the light emitted from the first light-emitting end face, wherein the optical waveguide comprises a reflecting area which selectively reflects a part of light emitted from a light-emitting end face of a semiconductor light-emitting device, a core of the reflecting area comprises a first diffraction grating which is disposed in a first area and whose refractive index periodically changes along an optical-axis direction, the first diffraction grating selectively reflects, of the light emitted from the light-emitting end face of the semiconductor light-emitting device, a part of the light within a first wavelength range. And the diffraction grating is one of denvices which constitute a laser resonator.

Starting from the plate (p) there are alternately mounted additional screening plates (sp1, ..., spn+1) connected through a resistor (r1) to the screening plate (sp) and additional plates (p1, ..., pn). Groups of additional plates (p1, ..., pn+1) are connected through resistors to the inverting input of an operational amplifier (1). At the beginning of each oscillation half-period the potential of the plates (p, p1, ..., pn) has a phase opposite to the phase of the screening plates (sp, sp1, ..., spn+1). The level switch detects electrically very poorly conductive materials with the relative permittivity near to 1 even through a thick, electrically well conductive deposit on its sensor.

    摘要： A satellite communication terminal system can execute voice communication even if it is placed at a location which is obstructed from a communication satellite by any object and has no telephone line. Further, a satellite communication terminal system for general purpose use and being extendible by using a satellite communication terminal comprises a portable satellite communication terminal for performing the voice communication with any other station through a communication satellite, a connection device and a radio telephone device including a base unit and hand units. The connection device comprises a terminal interface unit interfaced with the satellite communication terminal for controlling the transmission and reception of the satellite communication terminal and a channel control unit connected to the terminal interface unit for performing the channel connection to the radio telephone device. When the hand unit is placed at a location wherein the satellite communication terminal is not obstructed from the communication satellite, the voice communication with the other station can be accomplished through the satellite communication terminal at a location remote from the satellite communication terminal.

    摘要： The cutoff process of a collector current is divided into an emitter-to-collector voltage recovery period and a collector current cutoff period. During the emitter-to-collector voltage recovery period the resistance of a gate resistor is reduced, and during the collector current cutoff period the resistance of the gate resistor is increased. With this arrangement, the cutoff time is shortened, thereby reducing switching loss and suppressing surge voltage.
