摘要: A weight measurement device has a housing that includes a base, a platform located above the base and on which a subject is placed or stands, and a chamber defined by the base and the platform. At least one load cell is contained in the chamber and is supported by the base. A load transmission member is located between the platform and the load cell. A bracket is fixed to the base. An elastic deformation part is located around the load transmission member and connected to the bracket and to the load transmission member. The elastic deformation part has an elasticity that is greater than that of the load transmission member, and allows the load transmission member to change in position with respect to the bracket when force is transmitted from the platform via the load transmission member to the load cell.

摘要: A measuring device (1) comprises: a first housing (2) having measuring electrodes (11, 12, 13, 14); a second housing (3) connected to the first housing and housing a substrate which has terminals (41, 42, 43, 44) and includes a circuit that conducts a measurement process; and connecting members (20, 21, 22, 23) disposed between the first housing (2) and the second housing (3). The connecting members (20, 21, 22, 23) are formed of a unitary member. One end of each connecting member (20, 21, 22, 23) is connected to each terminal (41, 42, 43, 44), while the other end of each connecting member (20, 21, 22, 23) is in contact with each measuring electrode (11, 12, 13, 14) due to an elastic force of each connecting member (20, 21, 22, 23) itself. According to this configuration, the measuring device (1) can be easily assembled and can be stably used for a long time.

摘要: A blood sugar condition is estimated by the steps of (1) measuring a urine sugar value A, (2) discriminating whether or not said measured urine sugar value A is less than a discriminating method classification boundary value, (3) when the measured urine sugar value A is less than the discriminating method classification boundary value, obtaining an averaged value X of measured urine sugar values during a past predetermined period of time, measured at the same timing in a one-day life as the timing when said latest measured the urine sugar value A is measured, (4) calculating a difference between said averaged value X and said measured urine sugar value A, (5) when said difference {X - A} is not less than a positive discriminating reference difference, discriminating as being a blood sugar value decrease, (6) when the measured urine sugar value A is not less than the discriminating method classification boundary value, obtaining an averaged value X of all measured urine sugar values during said past predetermined period of time, (7) calculating a ratio between said measured urine sugar value A and said averaged value X, and, (8) when said ratio {A/X} is not greater than a first discriminating reference ratio, discriminating as being the blood sugar value decrease.

摘要: A biological information management module (12) includes a first acquisition unit (14), a determination unit (18), and a generation unit (19). The first acquisition unit (14) acquires a plurality of pieces of biological information of different types for a living organism during sleep. The determination unit (18) determines the state of the living organism based on the pieces of biological information. The generation unit (19) generates an execution instruction when the determination unit (18) determines that the living organism is in a predetermined state. The execution instruction causes a first device (23) to execute a predetermined operation. The first device (23) executes the predetermined operation with respect to the living organism.
