The gangway apparatus (10) includes a gangway component (16) which is preferably buoyant and may be inflatable. The gangway component (16) is mounted on a skate or bogie and traverses a fixedly mounted runway (14) . The runway (14) may be inclined. Control means are provided for controlling the motion of the gangway component on the runway. These may include biasing means such as a counterweight. The apparatus is preferably mounted in a shipping container such as a 40' ISO container.

    摘要: The present invention provides an apparatus and method of a dock system for launch and recovery of a stowed boat, which is capable of launching and recovering the boat during navigation of a marine vessel at a high headway speed. The launch and recovery apparatus has a stern dock (2) for accommodating the boat (10) therein. The apparatus launches the boat outboard through a stern opening and recovers the boat from the outboard area by entry of the boat into the dock. The apparatus is provided with a conduit device (11) so that seawater surrounding the vessel is drawn through an intake port (12) and is delivered to the dock through an outlet port (13). In the dock, a backward water stream is generated, which is to be discharged outboard through the stern opening.

    摘要: A floating vessel is stabilized against a stationary object, for example a mast of an offshore wind turbine. The vessel comprises a hull, a motor for the propulsion of the vessel, a buffer body, which protrudes with respect to the hull, as well as at least one engagement arm. The engagement arm is at one end provided with an engagement member for engaging on the stationary object. First, the buffer body of the vessel is pushed against the stationary object by means of the motor. The buffer body is hereby substantially stabilized against the stationary object. Next, the engagement body engages on the stationary object while the buffer body and the stationary object remain mutually stabilized by the pushing. After this, the engagement arm is subjected to tensile load while the stationary object is engaged by the engagement member.
