Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kupplungsgetriebe (1) mit einem in einer Getriebekammer (4) untergebrachten Getriebeteil (20), mit einem in einer Kupplungskammer (2) untergebrachten Kupplungsteil (23) und mit einer hydraulischen, eine Ölpumpe (15) umfassenden Steuerung (19) zur Bereitstellung von Drücken und Volumenströmen in dem Kupplungsgetriebe(1), wobei zur Kühlung des Kupplungsteils (23) die Ölpumpe (15) Öl ansaugt und in die Kupplungskammer (2) pumpt. Um Planschverluste in der Getriebekammer zu reduzieren und ein Ansaugen von Luft durch die Ölpumpe möglichst auszuschließen, ist zusätzlich zur Getriebekammer (4) und der Kupplungskammer (2) eine Ansaugkammer (3) vorgesehen, aus der die Ölpumpe (15) Öl ansaugt. Die Ansaugkammer (3) steht mit einem Ölausgang (7) der Kupplungskammer (2) in Wirkverbindung, um das aus der Kupplungskammer (2) austretende Öl aufzunehmen. Die Erfindung betrifft des weiteren ein Verfahren zum Schmieren und Kühlen des Kupplungsgetriebes.
