摘要: A deposition method is provided wherein a donor substrate (10) is arranged opposite a target substrate (20), the donor substrate having a surface (12) facing the target substrate that is provided with a viscous donor material (14). An optical beam (30) is directed via the donor substrate to the donor material so as to release the donor material and to therewith transfer the donor material as a jet towards the target substrate. In the method provided herein an input signal (Ds) is received that specifies a shape to be assumed by the jet with which the donor material is to be transferred and an energy profile of the optical beam is accordingly controlled. Additionally or alternatively the energy profile of the optical beam may be controlled in accordance with a pattern according to which the donor material is to be deposited on the target substrate. Likewise a corresponding deposition apparatus is provided.

摘要: Some embodiments involve obtaining access to a number of omnidirectional images which each represent a different viewpoint relative to the scene, and to metadata which is indicative of a physical relation between the respective viewpoint and a physical object present in the scene. Viewer data may be obtained which is indicative of a current physical relation between a viewpoint of the user and a same type of physical object in a current viewing environment of the user. An omnidirectional image may then be selected for display by comparing the viewer data to the metadata of the omnidirectional images.
In other embodiments, an omnidirectional image may have been selected, e.g., from a number of omnidirectional images or by being the only available image, and the user may be instructed to assume a viewpoint in which the physical relation to the physical object in the user's current viewing environment corresponds to the physical relation as indicated by the selected image's metadata.-

摘要: The invention is directed to a propellant charge for guns, to a combination of a propellant charge and a primer, to a firearms cartridge, and to a method for modifying the surface of a propellant charge.
The propellant charge of the invention comprises multiple propellant grains, wherein an exterior part of at least part of the propellant grains has been subjected to a surface modification treatment comprising the successive steps of
- suspending propellant grains in water to prepare a slurry,
- adding an organic solvent to the propellant grains before, after and/or during the preparation of the slurry,
- mixing the slurry that comprises water and organic solvent for a period of 120 minutes or less
- adding an additional amount of water,
- removing organic solvent, and
- drying the propellant grains to remove water.
Alternatively, an exterior part of at least part of the propellant grains has been subjected to a surface modification treatment comprising the successive steps of
- wetting propellant grains with water or water vapour,
- adding an organic solvent to the propellant grains before, after and/or during the wetting of the propellant grains,
- allowing the wet propellant grains and the organic solvent to interact for a period of 120 minutes or less,
- optionally removing water and/or organic solvent,
- lowering the concentration of organic solvent,
- removing organic solvent, and
- drying the propellant grains to remove water.-

摘要: A method and apparatus for light induced selective transfer of components. A donor substrate (10) with a plurality of components (11,12) divided in different subsets arranged according to respective layouts (A,B). A target substrate (20) comprises recesses (21) and protrusions (25). The donor and target substrates (10,20) are aligned such that a first subset of components (11) is suspended over corresponding recesses (21) in the target substrate (20) and a second subset of components (12) is in contact with corresponding protrusions (25) of the target substrate (20). Light (L) is projected onto the donor substrate (10) to transfer the first subset of components (11) across and into the corresponding recesses (21) while the second subset of components (12) remains attached to the donor substrate (10).
