Disclosed are a valve seat ring (8) and a multi-way valve having the valve seat ring (8). The multi-way valve comprises an upper valve body (1), a lower valve body (2) and a rotary valve core (3), wherein the valve seat ring (8) is located in the rotary valve core (3), the valve seat ring (8) comprises a body (10), the body (10) is provided with a penetrated through-hole (18), a first annular boss (13) is arranged on an outer wall (11) of the body (10), and a second annular boss (14) is arranged on an inner wall (12); the upper surfaces of the first annular boss (13) and the second annular boss (14) are respectively flush with the upper surface of the body (10) to form a sealing surface (15) which fits with a sealing surface (9) of the upper valve body (1) in a sealed manner; and an annular gap is formed between the lower surface of the first annular boss (13) and the rotary valve core (3), so that liquid in the chamber (4) and an oil incoming channel (5) respectively acts on the lower surface of the first annular boss (13) or the second annular boss (14) to form a sealing load. A pressure is applied from either the chamber (4) or a metering orifice (6), a sealing load hydraulically acted on the valve seat ring (8) is formed by the hydraulic acting force of the chamber (4) or the metering orifice (6), and the hydraulic adaptability for sealing the valve seat ring (8) is realized, thereby meeting the requirement of sealing in the multi-way valve at the leakage level of sealing level VI under a high-pressure difference.

A spool module for a subsea well production tree and system is presented. The spool module is similar to traditional process modules, except that the spool module includes all its components and their conduits inside one body (or block). This module includes retrievable components used for production and annulus flow lines into one package. The spool module includes the production choke, annulus choke, and conduit bores integral in the block. The spool module includes all of these elements machined into one body having no additional conduits or piping outside of the body. The spool module may also be used in connection with a subsea tree during production of a well, or with several wells on a template or as part of a manifold.

A plurality of beads are each positioned in the cage, such that fluid flows between the cage and the beads and between the beads when passing through the cage. Fluid pressure is reduced by the fluid passing through the cage, thereby reducing cavitation.

The present invention relates to a gate valve (10), in particular for returned drilling mud pressure control and/or well killing. The gate valve comprises: a flow passage (14); and a gate member (22) movable for intersecting the flow passage. The gate member includes a gate port (28) which extends from one face (34a) to an opposite face (34b) of the gate member and is alignable with the flow passage for allowing material in the flow passage to pass through the gate member, and a groove or recess (30) is provided in an inner wall (32) of the gate port, the groove or recess extending from the one face to the opposite face of the gate member. The present invention further relates to a method for returned drilling mud pressure control and/or well killing, and uses of a gate valve.
