A magnetic color toner comprises a binder resin, a colorant and magnetic composite particles having an average particle diameter of 0.06 to 10.0 µm and comprising: magnetic core particles, a gluing agent coating layer which is provided on the surface of said magnetic particles, and an organic yellow-based pigment coat, an organic red-based pigment coat or an organic blue-based pigment coat which is provided on said gluing agent coating layer in an amount of from 1 to 200 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of said magnetic core particles. The magnetic color toner exhibits not only a clear hue but also an excellent light resistance.

Black composite particles for semiconductor sealing material, comprise: an extender pigment as a core particle; and a black pigment provided on the surface of the extender pigment in an amount of 1 to 100 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the extender pigment. Such black composite particles not only exhibit enhanced blackness, moisture resistance, fluidity and tinting strength but also show an excellent dispersibility in binder resins. The resulting semiconductor sealing material is capable of exhibiting a high volume resistivity as well as excellent blackness, moisture resistance, soldering heat resistance, flowability and flexural strength.

A black perylene-based pigment comprising a solid solution obtained by calcining a mixture of at least two compounds selected from the group consisting of anhydrides of perylene tetracarboxylic acid, diimide derivatives of perylene tetracarboxylic acid and diimide derivatives of perylene diiminodicarboxylic acid, exhibits an excellent blackness, an excellent heat resistance and an excellent weather fastness as well as a high resistance and a high safety.
