    摘要: A tracking assembly (10) for tracking belts (12, 52) and webs comprises a support frame (20) which is adapted to be mounted below a travelling belt or web. A straight or angled support shaft (30) is pivotally mounted at its centre via a post (32) which is rotatable within bush (26, 56) on the support frame. A selected arc of rotation of the post within the bush (26, 56) is determined by an adjustable limit stop arrangement which can take the form of a pair of grub screws. A roller is mounted onto each end of the shaft (30). The two rollers (36, 50) have tapered ends (38, 54). When the belt or web travels off centre it will come into contact with the tapered end of the roller on the side to which the belt has moved. This will cause the shaft to pivot about a vertical axis of the post (32) and thereby steer the belt back to a central position.

    摘要: The invention concerns a device for automatic centring on a conveyor with belts supported by chain flexible rollers, comprising a central attachment receiving rollers with V-shaped angular orientation. Between the latter is arranged a rocking lever subjected to a displacement along a curved trajectory according to variation in altitude. The lever co-operates at its lower end with a fixing lug secured to a tensioning cable relative to the frame bearing the conveyor. The invention is characterised in that the rollers (20) of the central attachment are mounted in free rotation on their independent shaft (21) with V-shaped orientation, said shafts being detachably secured to an opposite end according to an angulation, by central linking means (22), secured to fastening means (23) for receiving and articulating the rocking lever (24), whereof the other end is secured to the fixing lug.

Several different linkage assemblies (64) are disclosed. Where the support roller (22) is incorporated in a magnetic separator (10), a support frame (18) rotatably supports a magnetic roller (12) and the support roller (22). A thin conveyor belt (20) extends around the rollers to receive particulate material for separation, and a drive rotates the two rollers.

    摘要: A material separator (10) for separating non-magnetic components from magnetic components in a material is provided. The material separator (10) has a support frame (32), a magnetic roller (40), and idler roller (60) and a conveyor belt (80). The idler roller (60) is rotatably mounted on an inclined slideway (90) so that tension on the conveyor belt (80) is maintained by the weight of the idler axle (62) and idler roller (60). The inclined slideways (90) may be provided by pivot arms (70, 72) and adjusting elements (100, 102, 104, 130, 132, 134) are provided to adjust the angles of inclination (Υ) to the horizontal, thereby allowing adjustability of the belt (80) tension. Detectors (142) monitor the tracking path of the belt (80) so that an adjustment to the angle of inclination (Υ) of one of the slideways automatically corrects deviations from the tracking path. The magnetic separator (10) is preferably a modular unit mountable in framework (12) having an upstream feed assembly (14, 214) and a downstream collection assembly (16, 216), either in single or multi-stage separator apparatus.
