Abstract:
A durable reinforcing band for conveyer belts, wherein a reinforcing band (3) is formed by interweaving a number of hard cords (6) facing a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction and longitudinally spaced at predetermined intervals with a number of longitudinally directed warp yarns (7) in such a manner as to prevent longitudinal shift, the reinforcing band (3) being disposed on the upper or lower surface of a core (2) composed of canvas or the like and being then surrounded by rubber (5), thereby forming a belt (1), and wherein the transverse stiffness and shape retainability of the belt can be enhanced by arranging the hard cords in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the belt, and moreover, the hard cords are prevented from shifting longitudinally of the belt; and a conveyer belt, particularly pipe conveyer belt, using the same.
Abstract:
A number of bead constituting bodies (2b) are removably attached to the portion of a curve conveyor associated with the outer peripheral edge of the belt main body (2a) installed taut between end rollers (15, 15) disposed at a predetermined angle. Alternatively, a number of bead constituting bodies (7b) are removably attached to the opposite edges of the belt main body (7a) of a linear conveyor installed taut between parallelly disposed end rollers. A beaded conveyor belt in which damaged beads alone can be easily exchanged is provided.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
A conveyor belt (1) for conveying goods in solid or liquid state comprises a goods-carrying endless element (2), which is made of an elastic material, and a single belt-supporting wire (4), which is fixedly connected to one lateral edge (3) of the endless element. The endless element (2) has in cross section and in its unloaded state essentially the form of a hook for forming a goods-receiving space. It is sufficiently rigid in the transverse direction of the conveyor belt so as to essentially retain the hook shape when conveying goods in the goods-receiving space.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a conveyor belt with a polymer surface coating containing an antimicrobial additive. The conveyor belt is characterized in that it comprises a traction layer (3) in the form of a material that is provided with a polymer surface coating. Said surface coating comprises a base layer (2) and a functional surface layer (1). The functional surface layer (1) contains an antimicrobial additive and is substantially thinner than the base layer (2). The division of the surface coating into a base layer (2) and a functional surface layer (1) allows to achieve in the area of the conveying zone, with a lower amount of antimicrobial additive and thus in a less expensive way, a just as high a concentration, or with the same amount of additive a substantially higher concentration and thus a higher effectiveness against microorganisms.
Abstract:
An improved method of transporting materials or products for chilling or freezing comprising the use of a multi-tiered, spiral path conveyor belt capable of tight radial turning in a restricted area to immerse the materials or products into a tank containing a cooling fluid and circulating the cooling fluid past the material or product is presented. The materials or products may or may not undergo chemical preparation prior to immersion, depending on the type of materials or products to be chilled or frozen. The cooling fluid, which can be food-grade solute, is circulated past the material at a substantially constant predetermined velocity and temperature to freeze the material or product. The cooling fluid is preferably between -20 degrees centigrade and -30 degrees centigrade, and the velocity of the cooling fluid past the material is about 35 liters per minute per foot of cooling fluid through an area not greater than about 24 inches wide and 48 inches deep. Alternatively, the speed of the multi-tiered, spiral path conveyor belt can be adjusted to increase or decrease the rate of immersion of the materials or products into the cooling fluid. All components of the multi-tiered, spiral path conveyor belt can be constructed of food-grade plastics.
Abstract:
A chain conveyor formed from a plurality of modules or links (1a, b, c) connected together by pins (2a, b) which are inserted through holes (4, 4A) present in said modules or links (1a, b, c) and are prevented from escaping by axially counteracting elements (5) mounted in seats (6) also present in said modules or links (1a, b, c), in which said axially counteracting elements (5) present a flexible tang (5c) which, when the axially counteracting element is mounted in the seat (6), intersects an end portion (4A) of the holes (4, 4A) through which the pin (2a, b, c) is inserted, to thus prevent said pin withdrawing from said holes (4, 4A), such withdrawal however being enabled by deflecting the flexible tang (5) (Figure 3).
