摘要: Valve assembly (3) has a fluid inlet (2) connected to inlet port (7), a fluid conduit (16), and a fluid outlet (4). Outlet (8) of inlet port (7) is selectively opened or closed by control assembly (9) comprising a cap (5) which can be manually rotated via control lever (6); and a bearing surface (10) with an indentation (12). When cap (5) is rotated so that indentation (12) aligns with outlet (8), fluid can flow from inlet (2) into chamber (13) through conduit (16) into chamber (17) and then through outlet (4). Indentation (12) also translates towards or away from outlet (8) when cap (5) turns on screw thread (11). A filter (18) can be installed in chamber (17) if required. Chamber (17) also acts as a mixing chamber if there are two or more inlets. Alternatively chamber (17) can be omitted so that fluid flows directly from chamber (13) to outlet (4). Cap (5) can be mechanically rotated. A tap and a shower mixer including valve assembly (3) are also disclosed.

摘要: A valve device is provided, so that a minute flow amount of fluid is capable of being set and a flow passage is prevented from being disturbed by a foreign matter. Specifically, the valve device includes: a drive source; a turning member, being driven and turned by the driving source; a valve body, being fixed to the turning member in a state that an end face of the valve body and an end face of the turning member in an axial direction are contacted with each other, and the valve body is integrally turned with the turning member; and a valve seat, being sliding contacted with an end face of the valve body opposite to the end face of the valve body contacting with the turning member. The valve seat has at least one outflow hole for fluid passing through the valve device, and the valve body has a throttle part which is a minute hole that communicates with the outflow hole in a part of a turning angle of the valve body. A flow passage has an opening part which is provided between opposed faces of the turning member and the valve body, so that the throttle part is communicated with an inflow hole for the fluid and so that inflow of an individual matter having a size which is unable to pass through the throttle part is shielded.

摘要: A valve is provided. The valve includes a body provided with fluid passages for circulating fluid therein. The body has a body interface with ports connected to the fluid passages. The valve also includes a valve element having a valve element interface facing the body interface. The valve element can move between different positions so as to permit or obstruct communication between the fluid passages. A biasing element biases the valve element interface against the body interface. A load varying mechanism is provided to load the biasing element with different sealing load forces according to the different positions of the valve element. The sealing load force applied on the rotor is thus decreased during rotation, reducing friction between the valve body and the valve element.
