    摘要: A process for preparing an enlarged latex, which comprises (1) causing (a) an anionic surfactant and (b) at least one surfactant selected from the group consisting of a cationic surfactant and an amphoteric surfactant to exist in a latex, (2) adding, as an aggregating and enlarging agent, at least one selected from the group consisting of (i) an inorganic acid, (ii) an organic acid, (iii) a substance which forms an acid in water, (iv) a combination of at least two substances which are reacted with each other to form an acid, and (v) a substance which forms an acid by exposure to active rays to the latex in the presence of these surfactants, and (3) causing the acid derived from the aggregating and enlarging agent to act on the latex, thereby enlarging the particle diameter of the latex, an enlarged latex obtained by the preparation process, a graft copolymer obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer with the enlarged latex, and a resin composition comprising the graft copolymer and a thermoplastic resin.

    摘要: A polyamide resin-based heat-shrinkable multilayer film is caused to satisfy various properties required of a packaging material, especially a food packaging material, at high levels, and particularly exhibit a highest level of heat-shrinkability. The multilayer film comprises at least three layers including an outer surface layer (a) which comprises a polyester resin or a polyolefin resin; an intermediate layer (b) which comprises a mixture of 85 - 60 wt. % of an aliphatic polyamide resin, and 15 - 40 wt. % of an aromatic copolyamide resin which is a copolymer of aliphatic diamine/isophthalic acid and aliphatic diamine/terephthalic acid, and an inner surface layer (c) which essentially comprises a copolymer of ethylene and α-olefin having a density below 0.915. The heat-shrinkable multilayer film has been biaxially stretched and then heat-treated to have hot-water shrinkabilities at 80 °C of at least 30 % in each of longitudinal/transverse directions and at least 35 % in at least one of longitudinal/transverse directions.

    摘要: The optical material in accordance with the present invention contains a specific phosphonate monoester compound such as monoethyl 3-methoxy butyl phosphonate, and a metal ion such as a copper ion or rare-earth metal ion. They may be contained in a solvent or resin. The use of such a specific phosphonate monoester compound improves the compatibility with a resin, whereby the metal ion can favorably be dispersed into the resin. Consequently, spectral characteristics can be improved when the optical member is formed into a resin-made optical member.

    摘要: An electrode-forming composition for providing an activated carbon electrode for an electric double layer capacitor is provide by blending activated carbon, a vinylidene fluoride polymer and a solvent including a plasticizer in addition to a good solvent for the vinylidene fluoride polymer. By applying the electrode-forming composition onto an electroconductive substrate, and selectively removing the solvent preferably by a combination of extraction of the plasticizer with a poor solvent for the vinylidene-fluoride polymer and evaporation of the solvent, it is possible to obtain an activated carbon electrode (polarizable electrode) that has an activated carbon electrode layer exhibiting good adhesion onto the electroconductive substrate and a good flexibility, and therefore has good processability. By using the activated carbon electrodes as polarizable electrodes, it is possible to provide an electric double layer capacitor having improved reliability.

    The plastic luminescent materials according to the invention comprise a resin containing a phosphate group and a rare earth metal ion therein. The resin is preferably an acrylic resin, and a polymer constituting the resin is particularly preferably a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing a specific phosphate group-containing monomer and a copolymerizable monomer. The luminescent materials according to the invention preferably contain an amide group.
    The production process according to the invention comprises the step of subjecting 100 parts by mass of a monomer mixture comprising a specific phosphate group-containing monomer and a specific amide group-containing compound to a polymerization treatment in the presence of 0.005 to 80 parts by mass of a rare earth metal compound.

    The phosphate compound of the invention is represented by the following formula (1). The phosphate copper compound of the invention is obtained by reacting the phosphate compound represented by the following formula (1) with a copper salt.
