A motor-driven sliding device for a support (13) for nozzles delivering water under pressure, in particular in shower compartments, comprises a guide (10) along which slides a guide shoe (12) carrying the support (13). The guide shoe (12) is made to move along the guide (10) by means of a cable (14) drawn by means of a pulley (17) keyed onto a ratiomotor (25). The ratiomotor (25) is controlled by a control circuit (26) which receives a signal emitted by an optoelectronic sensor (23) each time one of the holes (24) made in the pulley (17) passes in front of it. The signals emitted by the sensor (23) are used by the controller (26) to obtain the position of the guide shoe (12) along the guide (10). The controller then moves the guide shoe continuously to and fro between two position previously memorized by means of a control keyboard (27). Moreover, in the event of excessive absorption of power by the motor, indicating an obstacle along the path of the support (13), the controller (26) reverses the direction of movement of the guide shoe (12).

A bathtub is equipped with a water supply tap (11) and a hydromassage system comprising a plurality of nozzles (12) on the walls of the bathtub (1O) to each of which nozzles there are supplied flows of water and air coming from respective delivery (13) and supply (14) lines. The flow of water is taken off by means of a pump (15) having a suction line (17) connected to the container part of the bathtub (1O), while the delivery line (13) is connected to the nozzle (12). The suction line (17) is connected to the container part of the bathtub (1O) through the intermediary of a suction valve (16) which is normally closed, and each nozzle (12) comprises a plug (69) which is normally closed, so as to separate in a sealed manner the delivery (13) and supply (14) lines from the container part of the bathtub (1O). With the plug (69) there is also associated a manually actuated conduit for partializing the flow. Provision is also made for sensors (27) sensitive to the level of the water in the bathtub (1O) and to the pressure of the water in the delivery line (13), for controlling the automatic discharge of the hydromassage system, the operation of the tap (11) and the pump (15).
