The three-way valve (54) adjusts the flow volume of the cold water flowing through the heat exchanger (52). The heat exchanger temperature detection unit (56) is capable of detecting the temperature of the heat exchanger (52). The control unit (60) performs a first cooling control that controls the three-way valve (54) so that the temperature of the heat exchanger (52) detected by the heat exchanger temperature detection unit (56) is greater than or equal to the dew point temperature of air inside the indoor space (50a, 50b).

The refrigerant circuit includes a compressor (31) which compresses a refrigerant. The discharge pipe temperature sensor detects the temperature of the refrigerant which is discharged from the compressor outside the compressor. The protection control section performs protection control for the compressor in a case where a discharge pipe temperature which is detected by the discharge pipe temperature sensor exceeds a determination temperature. The determination temperature modifying section modifies the determination temperature according to information on the outside air temperature and/or information on the type of the refrigerant.

The heat exchanger temperature detection unit ( 56 ) is capable of detecting a water temperature. The water temperature is the temperature of the water flowing to the heat exchanger ( 52 ). The control unit ( 60 ) comprises a water temperature determination unit ( 66 ) and an operation unit ( 64 ). The water temperature determination unit ( 66 ) determines whether the water temperature detected by the heat exchanger temperature detection unit ( 56 ) is within a prescribed temperature range. The operation unit ( 64 ), based on a determination result of the water temperature determination unit ( 66 ), sets the three-way valve ( 54 ) to a state selected from the group consisting of the first state and the second state.
