The tracking circuit (10) generates an updated enabling voltage (V'set) according to an enabling voltage (Vset), a sample enabling voltage (Vset max) and a sample reference voltage (Vclamp). The operational amplifier (12) output a control voltage according to an input voltage (V1) and a feedback voltage (V2). The transistor includes a control terminal receiving the control voltage, a first terminal receiving a reference voltage (VBAT), and a second terminal outputting a regulated voltage (Vreg). The feedback circuit (17) generates the feedback voltage (V2) according to the regulated voltage (Vreg). The sample and hold circuit (14) samples the input voltage (V1) to generate the sample enabling voltage (Vset_max), and samples the feedback voltage (V2) to generate the sample reference voltage (Vclamp).

When the shorting element is turned on, the second resistor (R2) is bypassed. By including an adjustable regulated voltage regulator (160), an adjustable bias current generator (160) and a size-adjustable inverter module (170), the voltage generator (100) is able to manipulate the speed of voltage generation.
