According to the invention air is taken into the system of intake air passages (1, 2, 4) of the gas turbine and the particles contained in the intake air are collected by means of at least one plate filter (3) to which a collection voltage has been connected. In order to enable and enhance collection, the air is taken into at least one charging chamber (2) arranged at a distance prior to the plate filters (3) in the flow direction of the air, where an electric field is formed between at least two electrodes (5, 7) by connecting a voltage between the electrodes which exceeds the collection voltage, whereby powerful charging of the particles and at least partial removal of the water contained in the air are effected.

The first combustion zone (I) begins from the height level of primary air supply nozzles (3) and it extends above the fluidized bed (2), ending under the height level (hS) of secondary air nozzles (6). The second combustion zone (II) begins from the height level (hS) of the secondary air nozzles (6) and ends under the height level (hT) of tertiary air nozzles (7). The third combustion zone (III) begins from the height level (hT) of the tertiary air nozzles. The length of the first combustion zone (I) is optimized by placing the secondary air nozzles (6) at a height (hS) from the top surface of the fluidized bed (2), which height (hS) is chosen according to a given calculation formula and calculated according to furnace-specific variables, reference values and design point-specific variables.
