    摘要: A fuel filter assembly (10) includes a housing (12) with an internal chamber (14) and inlet and outlet (18, 22). The chamber is bounded by an annular wall (16) and has an opening (30) at an upper end thereof. An element (26) is accepted in the chamber. The element includes a manually engagable cap portion (28) for closing the opening, and a disk shaped member (46). The disk shaped member has a deformable lip portion (50) for engaging the annular wall, and for fluidly separating an aperture (24) in connection with the outlet fitting, from an aperture (20) in fluid communication with the inlet fitting. A media body (54) of filter media (56) removes impurities from liquid flowing therethrough. Fuel flows from the inlet to the chamber and then through the media. From an interior area (60) of the media body, the fuel passes through a passage (62) into an intermediate area (52) and out the outlet. An element change may be accomplished without spilling or contacting the fuel, and without contaminants in the chamber reaching the aperture in fluid communication with outlet.

The filter housing (10) has an unclean liquid inlet (13), a central cleaned liquid outlet (14), and an eccentric liquid discharge channel (15). A central standpipe (2) is arranged over the cleaned liquid outlet (14), and the filter insert (3) is plugged onto the standpipe (2). The filter insert (3) has an eccentric closure pin (35) on the filter insert face that faces the liquid discharge channel (15), and positioning means are provided which guide the closure pin (35) into engagement with the eccentric liquid discharge channel (15) when the filter insert (3) is plugged onto the standpipe (2). The liquid filter (1) according to the invention is characterized in that the central standpipe (2) is a separate component that can be connected to the cleaned liquid outlet (14) by means of a plug connection. First positioning means (18, 28) are provided on the central cleaned liquid outlet (14) and on a lower end region of the standpipe (2), said positioning means guiding the standpipe (2) into a specified position in the circumferential direction relative to the filter housing (10) when the standpipe (2) is inserted into the cleaned liquid outlet (14). Second positioning means (29, 39) are provided on the outer circumference of the standpipe (2) and on the inner circumference of the filter insert (3), said positioning means guiding the filter insert (3) into a specified position in the circumferential direction relative to the standpipe (2) when the filter insert (3) is plugged onto the standpipe (2). The first and second positioning means (18, 28; 29, 39) match each other such that the closure pin (35) on the filter insert (3) engages the liquid discharge channel (15) in the filter housing (10).
