A method of pretreating a natural gas stream for a floating liquefied natural gas plant is described. A natural gas feed stream is introduced into an amine absorption unit and a temperature swing adsorption unit located on a ship. The temperature swing adsorption unit has a dehydration cycle and a CO2 removal cycle. The amount of motion of the ship, or the level of CO 2 in the natural gas feed stream with reduced contaminants, or both, is monitored. If the amount of motion of the ship or the level of CO 2 in the natural gas feed stream with reduced contaminants exceeds a predetermined value, temperature swing adsorption unit is switched from the dehydration cycle to the CO 2 removal cycle.

The biomass processing system, provides a continuous process which can be completely powered by the energy contained in the biomass. The heat, mechanical power and electrical power are provided from the energy in the biomass, through the methods described. In this way, the apparatus is free to operate in remote locations, where no power or auxiliary fuel sources are available.

A fuel composition for use in an internal combustion engine comprising at least one liquid fuel and at least one gaseous fuel, the gaseous fuel having an effective solubility in the liquid fuel at twenty degrees Celsius and one atmosphere in the range of 0.0000001 g/kg to 0.0002 g/kg, wherein dispersion of the gaseous fuel within the liquid fuel before introduction of the fuel composition to the injection system of the engine is such that molecules of the liquid and gaseous fuels are substantially equidistant one from another, liquid from liquid and gas from gas, within a variance preferably of no more than one hundred percent (± 100%), more preferably of no more than fifty percent (± 50%), and most preferably of no more than twenty-five percent (± 25%), whereby the fuel composition is substantially homogeneous so as to promote the atomization of the liquid fuel and thus improve combustion.
