Also provided is a method of supplying fluid to a vehicle engine using said fluid reservoir system.

Erfindungsgemäß ist im Strömungsweg von dem Ölreservoir (3) zu den Ölfiltereinheiten (11, 17) eine Schalteinheit (7) vorgesehen, die in wenigstens einem Teil derjenigen Schaltstellungen der Filter-Umschalteinrichtung (14), in denen ein Teil der Ölfiltereinheiten (11, 17) aktiv und ein anderer Teil der Ölfiltereinheiten (11, 17) passiv geschaltet ist, einen ersten Drucköl-Strömungsweg von dem Ölreservoir (3) zu der wenigstens einen aktiven Ölfiltereinheit (11, 17) freigibt und weiter einen zweiten Ablass-Strömungsweg zwischen der wenigstens einen passiven Ölfiltereinheit (11, 17) und einem Ablasskanal (20) herstellt, wobei dem Ablasskanal (20) eine Ablass- bzw. A lubrication system for use in a gas turbine engine is comprised of a first pump driven by a first shaft at a first speed and a second pump driven by a second shaft at a second speed that is faster than the first speed. The first and second pumps provide lubricant to an engine operating system. The pumps are optimized based on differential speed changes between the two drive speeds for the respective shafts to provide an optimized oil flow for the engine as a whole. A gas turbine engine and a method of operating a gas turbine engine are also disclosed.
