    摘要: A gas turbine engine (10) comprises a turbine (17) and a turbine cooling arrangement. The turbine (17) comprises a turbine rotor (26) surrounded by a static rotor track liner (28), and a nozzle guide vane (32) downstream of the turbine rotor (26) in a core main gas flow path (A). The cooling arrangement comprises a first cooling air duct (44) configured to provide a cooling airflow to a rotor track liner cooling plenum (48) and a second cooling air duct (46) configured to provide a cooling airflow to the nozzle guide vane (32). A common manifold (40) is provided upstream in the cooling airflow of the first and second ducts (44, 46) and is configured to provide cooling air to the first and second ducts (44, 46). A two-way valve (42) is provided, which is configured to modulate air provided to the first and second ducts (44, 46) from the manifold (40). The valve (42) is configured to operate in one of a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode, air flow to the first duct (44) is relatively high and airflow to the second duct (46) is relatively low compared to where the valve (42) is operated in the second mode.

    摘要: A linkage for coupling a reciprocal actuator 21 to separate butterfly valves 14, 15, each having an operating lever 28, 29 connected to a spindle pivotable in a housing 11, comprising first and second arms 26, 27 coupled to a pivot at respective first ends, the second ends being respectively pivotably connected to the operating levers, wherein one of the arms includes a spring between its ends permitting relative axial movement of said ends when an axial force transmitted therethrough exceeds a threshold. A bell crank may be coupled to the pivot for attachment to the actuator. The housing preferably has an integral fixed arm 20 on which the actuator is mounted. The actuator may be rotary or linear and can be electric, pneumatic or hydraulic. The linkage may be used with an exhaust brake, an exhaust gas recirculation system or a waste heat recovery system of a vehicle. Using a single actuator to operate parallel valves in two separate ducts ensures an equal degree of throttling in each duct.

The valve controller further includes an armature 70 movable relative to the channel. The armature 70 closes the inlet port and the exhaust port 74 in a first position, the armature 70 opens the inlet port and closes the exhaust port in a second position, and the armature opens the exhaust port and closes the inlet port in a third position. The valve controller also includes an electromagnetic motor adjacent to the channel for moving the armature 70.
